I took CMC’s one-day course last week from Steve Luxton. I heartily recommend it. Cost was $150.00, but Luxton’s knowledgeable, and the class was interesting. 7 hours instruction won’t turn you into an EnergyStar guru, but the information presented is an excellent refresher if you’ve got some residential energy conservation knowledge, and it’s an excellent basis if you’re weak in that area.

Luxton's company is gearing-up a program using a proprietary software program to benefit consumers through a residential energy review. A home inspector can perform the energy "Tune-Up" inspection for Clients as part of a home inspection, or on a stand-alone basis. If CMC provides some marketing support, you may well find a nice additional revenue/profit opportunity with them.

(P.S. I received no compensation from Luxton or CMC for this unsolicited endorsement) ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)
