The mission of InterNACHI’s Urban Development Chapter (UDC) is to create more awareness concerning alternative options to long-term certification programs and the encumbrance of excessive student loan debt. InterNACHI’s UDC focuses on the educational needs of employable men and women who take an interest in becoming potential home inspectors. The Urban Development chapter of InterNACHI was developed to concentrate efforts on those that will benefit from resources such as scholarships, mentorships, and many of the other valuable tools InterNACHI has to offer. Our initiative is to empower individuals seeking to further their education and knowledgebase through course-study provided by InterNACHI.
Our vision is to develop a culture of Home Inspectors that are eager to contribute to their communities with the knowledge they have learned from InterNACHI. We believe it is vital to all communities for each member to develop a skillset that will enable them to teach generations to come how to utilize the knowledge obtained at InterNACHI to preserve the integrity of our industry. We recognize there is a need for further education in the field of home inspection to help community-members secure entry-level employment opportunities and advance to a fulfilling career as a certified home inspector.
