ADVANCED INSPECTIONS
TRACK

In the first part of this workshop, we’ll cover the design, operation and installation of modern gas furnaces, including natural-draft gas furnaces and high-efficiency condensing furnaces, as well as their common defects. Then, we’ll go over air-conditioning systems, with a review of the science behind cooling-only equipment, and their components, functions and operation, along with a checklist of common defects. We’ll briefly discuss the differences between cooling-only and heat pump equipment, and how to identify them.

Owner and lead instructor for KC Hart and Company, retired Virginia-licensed inspector Kenny Hart has been teaching his Virginia-approved home inspector pre-licensing and Continuing Education classes to both novice and experienced home inspectors for decades.
