I’m looking for advice on how to price ancillary services such as water quality testing, mold/air quality testing and termite inspection here in Ohio. Thank you in advance for input/suggestions.
Factor in your real costs to perform the service. Supplies, mileage, your desired hourly rate of pay, lab fees to analyze samples. Do not short yourself, especially on a stand alone ancillary service.
Auxiliaries show be priced at a higher rate. An inspector lives off the home inspection fees, but actually makes the money from the auxiliaries. A restaurant does not make much money off the main course, but off of dessert and drinks.
Well put James !!
