Rheem furnace age??

trying to figure a furnace age. model number got me to between 1996 - 2005.
ser #FD5D302F400006727. Need some help.

Before 1974 the first 2 digits indicated the year and the next digit the
month. Example: 732xxx = February 1973.
Since then, the age is coded into the last four digits of the serial number by week and
year.

I know, but it don’t fit Wayne

2002
was there not a space somewhere there?

dont use model number use the serial number.

40th Week of 2000

40000 6727

John has it correct…

1st two digits, after the “F”, is the week and the 2nd two digits, after the “F”, is the year.

Thanks guys, was there a few years that the numbers were coded different?. This is what I got off the internet some time ago:
Rheem/Ruud: Before 1974 the first 2 digits indicated the year and the next digit the
month. Example: 732xxx = February 1973.
Since then, the age is coded into the last four digits of the serial number by week and
year. Therefore xxxx2302 = 23rd week of 2002.
