I found these styrofoam and insulation enclosures over non-ic high hats. While the styrofoam does keep the insulation away from the high hat, it doesn’t allow the heat to dissipate. I’m interrested to hear your comments.
Looks like a fire hazard to me.
They were apparently trying to insulate after the fact judging from condition of things.
Interesting approach.
