It’s been stated for quite some time that ITA had a deal for pay as you go E and O. I’m sure Nick isn’t stating anywhere that he cut an exclusive deal. But this does open it up for more people besides ITA graduates to get it.

You still have to be an ITA grad fof the first one, and the second one from Allen says, comming soon.

He just posted in Misc. section that you have to be a member of NACHI, when in fact you can be a member of any assoc., but NACHI will cut your dues in half for membership with them.

You were saying Micheal?

In “AN” association.

Read it again 1jason.*

What is it you don’t understand? The way I read it you can apply under any assoc. or training provider.

How do you read it?

Pay Per Inspection…3/1/07 11:43 AMyou are correct

Thank you.

1jason, I didn’t say you couldn’t apply.
It clearly states, but may not qualify for Preferred status.

**NACHI membership confers this preferred status.
Maybe there is an advantage to belonging to NACHI, maybe not

Do you know of any addtional information 1jason?

Just what I read, do some research yourself once in a while.

That refers to the association or the training provider, not the inspector seeking the insurance.

The only way to correctly judge the value of an insurance program and company…is NOT by its premiums, special offers, or incentives…but by the way it handles it claims.

Can anyone report on this particular “Pay Per Inspection” system?

Unless you are an ITA grad and using ITA forms (an existing program we did not dislodge) the only way to get the Pay Per Inspection insurance preferred status is to be a NACHI member. See the important note in the link I posted: http://www.pay-per-inspection.com

So what does “preferred status” get you that being a member of another assoc. or graduate of another training school, not get you?

Pricing. However nothing over being a graduate of ITA. The pre-existng deal for ITA graduates is one we did not dislodge or seek to dislodge since ITA is now a sister training school for NACHI. If you don’t want to join NACHI, you have to go to school (ITA).

So what is the discount that NACHI members get compared to others?

Jason1, just re-join NACHI and all will be well. You perhaps are beginning to see that it is worth far more than the annual membership fees we gladly pay.

I attended the 3 day commercial training in Denver which was a fantastic class with a bunch of great guys(56) and taught by a wonderful teacher(Mike Nelson of ITA/Kaplan), all NACHI members (of course that may have been because it was only available to NACHI members)

You should probably decide soon before the 10,000 cap is reached. tick, tick ,tick, tick;-)
