Wood Stove Inspections-U.S. standards?

I had someone recently ask me to inspect their wood stove for insurance purposes. He said his insurance agent told him it was needed for his policy. I found WETT certified as a Canadian standard for wood burning appliances. Does a similar standard and/or training exist in the United States? This may be a good service to offer as many heat with wood here in the winter. Any guidance you may be able to offer is appreciated.
