cathedral ceiling

this may be a stupid question but, when there is blown fiberglass insulation on cathedral ceiling is it still over insulated ? ****](https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=fpt&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&sa=X&ei=zgh0UKXvD4aCyAHPs4G4DQ&spell=1&q=cathedral+ceiling&ved=0CB4QvwUoAA&biw=1348&bih=603)

The insulation value (rating) is important, but more so is the provision of adequate ventilation if there’s a roof above.

I would say no if there is enough room over the insulation for adequate ventilation. They blow them in here and they are never an issue. The roof pitch is 6-8/12 and the interior slope is 2 1/2/12. Lots of room.

was what i was thinking, did mention a little room between where the one side of the ceiling meets the roof. was packed in there tight.
