Citizens will not want to insure a home with cloth wiring. What is the difference of cloth wiring and cloth braided wiring, if any?
You should post this in the Florida section for a 4-point inspection. Cloth wiring means different things to different inspectors.

There’s no such thing as “cloth wiring,” however, there are different types of cloth-covered wiring.
Cloth-covered, tin-clad copper wiring (TCCW) is commonly the type that insurance companies will frown upon, whether it’s solid or stranded.
Cloth-covered non-metallic cable (NMC) is usually not an issue with insurance companies.
