While inspecting a crawlspace I came across a main electrical service cable in contact with a natural gas copper line. Not easy to research this, matter fact I found nothing. I did comment in the report to, at a minimum to install a non conductive protective cover over the gas line to prevent the possibility of damage and conduction to a copper gas line. Comments?
There is no problem with the installation. The copper line is in contact with the wood joist and the plastic insulation on the cable.
Wait until you see an exterior faucet running onto an outlet. Also not against any codes but it sure sounds like a bad idea
