My younger two boys have a great opportunity for a few weeks this summer, from Jun 7-17 they will be going to Nicaragua for a mission trip. Each of them needs to raise $1700 to cover flight, per diem, and construction materials. They will be helping to construct two new classroom buildings. The current building holds 240 kids (120 in the morning and another 120 in the afternoon). These new classrooms will allow the school to double their size, and there are more than 240 kids that can’t go to school now. If ANY of you have a little bit of room in your budget to help them out, we would SO GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!
We are running all the money through a registered non-profit, so you will get a letter at the end of the year for next years taxes for your tax deductable contribution. Any extra money that they raise will be used to provide for MORE construction materials for the next group that comes in.
