I’m curious if anyone charges clients for a home energy report and if so how much do you charge?

Gosh no…I don’t even do them. They are too off. Great idea, but too general. It is unusable for me.

I do one for every client free. The realtors love it.

Hi, what do you include in it? Is it part of your main report or you make a separate one? Would it be possible to see a sample?

It’s only available in the U.S. It interfaces with a D.O.E. laboratory http://www.nachi.org/home-energy-inspection.htm

We have had an ongoing contract with the U.S. Department of Energy to supply this reporting system. We only created the software. The data is retrieved from their database. Our software interacts with their database to generate the report. They only have data for the U.S.

Make sense. Maybe you will have a contract with the Canadian department of energy one day. Thanks for explaining.

Yeah that’s kind of what I was considering doing. I actually just did my first one for a friend and he really appreciated it. Thank you for the feedback!
