Sometime ago, I saw a post about who was perceived to be the first fee based home inspector. Seems to me, it was a fella in chicago in the early 70’s? Anyone know where to find that info? Thanks.

Not sure about USA, but I think Mike Holmes is Canadas first home inspector :mrgreen:.
Milton Goldstein started Building Inspection Service in 1938. He is the father of one of my good friends, Marvin Goldstein, ASHI’s President.
