The purpose of this class is to:
- learn how to conduct whole-house air leakage and duct leakage tests with a blower door and a duct tester;
- calculate the leakage rate of both;
- confirm or pass/fail the testing, according to International Energy Code Council (IECC) standards; and
- prepare you for the hands-on certification examination.
With this training and certification, you will be able to conduct third-party testing for Certificates of Occupancy for new and remodeled homes.
