Hey,
I am another new Inspector down here in Texas. I received my training through AHIT,but joined NACHI asap! I appreciate the forums and this is my first post , so treat me delicately.
I am a little bit of a perfectionist and have heard it would be best if I hired a ride a long Inspector for 5 or 6 Inspections before hanging a shingle. I feel comfortable with my beginning knowledge but am positive that I will continue to learn for the remainder of my career.
I dont mind the idea of the investment of a ride a long but I would like to pay someone who is more interested in training better inspectors than just needing extra spending money.
What can you guys offer in advice for a guy just wanting to do a great job?
