NACHI member Jim Troth quoted in a newspaper article about inspections.

http://www.dispatch.com/homegarden/homegarden.php?story=dispatch/2006/08/13/20060813-I1-00.html

I urge everyone to visit Jim’s website: http://www.homeinspectionsinohio.com

Good going, Jim;
Seller’s Inspections are what I encouraged our North Idaho / Spokane NACHI members to push hard in this market, in our meeting on Friday.
Little by little, sellers - and their agents - are seeing the logic to this!

Way to go Jim =D> =D> \:D/

Great plug Jim

Mark, Your website still says to call Jim for inspections. Are you still layed up from surgery or are you back to work yet?
Dave

Way to go. I am hoping to get the local real estate guys to do more list inspections.

Dave.
Thanks for your question concerning my surgery. I have had my surgery and now I am on the mend. I had full blown back surgery on my back. I had my old hardware removed and new longer hardware installed. The doctor told me that he did the hardware up date, now I have to do the software up date. That will harder to do then the surgery I think. It is very hard to undue all of the old habits that you are use to doing. He said that it more or likely be 6 months before he will allow me to start doing any lite duty,or to come back to doing home inspections. :frowning: I have totally removed my self from the Oxycontin, and the oxcycodone pain med’s. He was not real happy about it, but he said I was the one who had to take the pain. So as long as my blood pressure stays where it is suppose to be I will be ok.

Mark, Thanks for letting me know how you are doing. I was not aware how extensive the surgery was. 6 months is a long time to be unable to work, especially when you have your own business. Do you have some fall back income to help you through I hope? This is a public message, so don’t say anything if you don’t want to, I’ll understand. You could respond private message or e-mail if you don’t want to on the board. If there is something you could use help with, me or one of the other guys might be able to help out. I’ll be praying for a quick recovery and with hopefully little or no complications.
Dave

I decided to add a link to an article I recently wrote.

Jim, I see that you are a Certified Inspection Expert. How can I get that certification? Thanks, John

No offence, but this site is an advertisement for Certified inspection experts as well as every useless widget an inspector could buy which would also include the selling, trading or releasing of their clients private information. All of that does damage to the real Home Inspection Industry and all clients, (even according to you Nick).

Jim is in the house,
Bring on The Rukus !!!

Great findings Jeff and Roy !! I figured it was just another useless twit/shammer of sorts… Seems to be typical when Thornberry is involved.
