My favorite extinct bird is the “ohno” bird.
It was never photographed, but it’s distinct characteristics were its three inch long legs and a scrotum than hung down five inches. As it came in for a landing, for miles around you could hear it’s familiar shriek…“oooohhh nnnoooooo”, hence its name.
