As the person responsible for putting together the NACHI e-mail newsletter, I would like to apologize for neglecting to acknowledge Roy Cooke as NACHI’s Canadian Member of the Year in our latest issue. It was an unintentional oversight on my part, and I regret not publicly recognizing Roy for his dedication to NACHI, the great things he has done for our organization and members, and his well-deserved award.
I spoke to Roy this evening, and he was (as most of you who have met him would expect) most gracious. Nonetheless, I wanted to post this apology here to make everyone aware of my error. As Roy so aptly put it, “show me a man who doesn’t make mistakes, and I’ll show you a man who doesn’t do anything.”
