I rarely use them, Frank. They are seldom installed correctly, (too short, too long, not mounted correctly, bolts missing from steps,etc.)

I just bring my 6’ ladder in.

It would still be a good ideal to inspect them for your clients sake.

I inspect them prior to using them (on the rare occasion they are installed correctly). Nothing gets the point across to your client about them being unsafe when you run your ladder up next to them to avoid the death trap that is hanging by a couple screws in the wrong position.

Always…that’s why I bring my ladder in, which usually gets the point across quite well!
