InterNACHI School is pleased to offer another live, hands-on class in exterior building cladding inspections addressing PB-EIFS, MD-EIFS, traditional and One Coat Stucco as well as Adhered Manufactured Stone Veneer, taught by Ron Huffman.
Upon successful completion of the class the student will enable to:
- Properly identify wall cladding systems
- know proper standard detailing,
- Know potential problem areas,
- Know how to report on these items.
In addition we will be offering an additional class on deck inspections taught by Brian LaFave from Simpson Strong-Tie. This course will cover the basics of deck design and construction, including the concept of continuous load path and the critical connections involved in deck construction. Related code requirements are referenced per the International Building Code® (IBC) and International Residential Code® (IRC). The course also reviews connector and fastener selection, load capacity, and corrosion issues. The course is intended to help inspectors and other industry professionals ensure decks are safe, strong and code compliant.
You will earn a total of 16 CE credits for attending this two-day class!
