In my area we have little to no stucco siding. Very rare to come across this or EIFSThis morning I have my first and while it is hollow sounding when tapped I thought it was EIFSbut now after some reading and noting the details of coings on the corners that it may be dryvit. Is there any tricks to noting the difference ?
It does have some cracks and a couple open places so I am calling it out but am not clear on what it is. Is dryvit a brand name of EIFS?

Yep just a brand name.
Around here everyone calls EIFS dryvit.
Always call for a specialist around here and barrier method is not allowed on residential for 10 years now.
