At what point do you recommend a structural engineer? I did a 3,900 sq ft home that the lower level was a 3 piece modular. The upstairs was then built on site. There are several 2 to 3 feet cracks throughout the house. The girders and columns looked fine in the crawlspace. This is a pre-listing inspection. The house was built in 2007.
Cosmetic issues IMO
I agree. Initial minor settling now stable/
Thanks Bradley and Kenton!
Looks more like sloppy drywall finishing than stress cracks, IMHO
Looks like a typical home built with green wood and it shrinks over the years .
Needs a tune up .
