These 6 inch insulation boards were used as roof decking. They appear as something that I’ve seen on large freezer walls and ceilings. Any idea on their strucural abilities and their R Values. And does this ceiling still need to be insulated. This was a ventilated attic space so I am assuming yes it does need insulation in the ceiling, which was very little.
