Does anyone have any rule of thumb or any General way of knowing about what the Attic temperature should be based on outdoor/ Indoor temp?
Hot out side hotter in attic VERY Cold outside Cold inside attic…
With adequate ventilation, it should be close to the exterior temperature. It will be warmer on sunny days.
Short answer. No.
Variable on too many conditions.
Use your best judgment.

I think it’s more about controlling humidity
There is no rule of thumb because temperatures vary from place to place. Setting it will be a case to case basis kind of thing depending on the condition.
