i cant figure out why this wire would be cut or what its used for. I traced it up the roof to the service entrance. It looks like it just loops over the service entrance strap but doesn’t seem to be connected to anything else.
Yup, telephone cable. They probably switched over the a system that uses coax so they no longer needed the cooper phone lines. Just as a footnote only power conductors are permitted to be supported by a mast for the service.
