This ceiling fan has one of those energy saver “curly fry” light bulbs that flickers. It can’t be exchanged for a regular incandescent bulb because it plugs in rather than screws in. Any solutions?
I would guess that is a GU24 socket which is meant only to allow energy saver bulbs. If the bulb flickers, it probably needs to be replaced.
Change out the fixture
…with a candle.
Is it on a dimmer?
