Default SE cable going across house front

SE cable is attached to the left side side of house and crosses all the way over to the right. Please advise if that is an issue to be addressed,
Thank you

Cant tell you about the routing, but the cable appears shot and in need of replacement.

No problem with the route unless it's subject to physical damage which is up to the inspector to decide. Ugly but pretty common here in NJ. As Alan stated it's shot.

All I can see are cracks in the paint, I cannot tell if the insulation had degraded from this picture

You're right looked at it initially on my phone and it appeared as if the insulation was cracked.
