Tie bar

No tie bar visible in service panel. Center bar in second photo appears to be all plastic serving as a standoff. Is this a problem? Ground bus is grounded to conduit ring.

And what makes you think that is the service panel?

Haha, good question … Slow down, step back, focus, deep breath…

GE panels have the tie bar at the end which can be removed when using as a non-service panel like in the photo below. Your panel should have a bonding screw install in the EGC’s bus.

The fact that the neutrals are segregated from the grounding conductors should be a clue this is not a service panel. The 4 wire feed is another clue.

If this is the only panel in the home then there may be a single main breaker outside by the meter. That will be the service panel and the neutral and ground will be bonded there.

No main breaker
4 wire
Neutral and ground seperate
No bonding screw

All clues to this situation.

That white wire on the bottom right also should be phase taped.

Shouldn’t there be a bonding screw in the bus being used to terminate the EGC’s?

Thanks guys.
