Two 14 ga branch circuits = 30 amps Right??

When you put two 14 ga wires together you need to up the fuse to 30 amps, Right?? That’s what the home owner told me…

Look closely, and you will see the range has 60 amp fuses along with the main disconnect fuses. The branch circuit conductor is a number 8. The SE cable is TW-6 and the box is rated for 60 amps. And if you really look past the double taps, you may notice the branch circuit connected to the buss at the bottom.

Time to start over with a new service.

That nice brown neutral wire is an indication of possible overload.
