Age

Need help with age and tonage.

Performance Plus / AC

M#HBBA-F30SD
S#WGGP130409

Thanks

dont have date resources handy.

the 30 in the model tells you it’s a 2.5 ton.

a number in the model will typically be divisible by 12 or 6.

30 / 12 = 2.5

I agree with the 2.5 ton as for the make Performance Plus is a model type not a manufacturer. If you can give me the manufacturer I can narrow it down for you. I’m guessing April 2004, but don’t quote me on it. Hopefully someone can confirm it.

Hi to all,

it looks like a Luxaire model number from the late 1990’s

I think you are correct. There was no name on the unit, but the furnace is a Luxaire.

The a/c unit is a Luxaire.

The furnace ia a Luxaire
M#PCLUBL012N080B
S#EHGM314812

Thanks

Hi Gary,

I can’t fully trace either of them down as I believe you mis read the numbers (your PCLUBL012N080B should read PCLUBLD12N080B) but both appear to be Luxaire units from 1997-1999

Where’s Russel when we need him??? (inquiring minds want to know  ) probably got into the Tequila early today

Gerry

Makes sense now. Luxaire is manufactured by York-Borg Warner. The unit was manufactured in 1998.

Yes, both units were manufactured in 1998. If there are three or four letters at the start, then the third letter is the year.

G is 1977 or 1998, so we’re presuming 1998.
