New article: Inspecting Compression Cooling Systems.

https://www.nachi.org/inspecting-compression-cooling-systems.htm

“An overly large system will blast on quickly, bringing the air temperature below the thermostat set point, and shutting off before it has had time to remove moisture from the air, which can cause moisture problems in the home, especially in humid climates”… Good advice - especially in Florida. Excellent read!

Also note this: which I ***** about on a weekly basis to those who like to test Delta-T with a thermometer!

If you can’t measure wet bulb, you can’t determine anything about performance.

Nick it would be nice for us Northerners if you posted a map that included the climate zones of Canada. We have 3.
