I’m trying to determine the age of this Guardian unit.

Serial: W0H8230043

I have no information on Guardian, but that appears to be a York/Borg Warner serial number, so they probably manufactured it.

The H standards for 1978 or 1999.

A search with that model number brings up a Dayton compressor. I think Dayton went out of business in 1990.
