Radiant Heat

Looking for some additional info on radiant heat. Inspected a mid 70’s house with radiant heat from the ceiling. When I was in the attic, I didn’t notice any wires under the batting insulation. Are the wires “sandwiched” inside the drywall? Any special precautions needed for replacing sections of ceiling or cutting a hole for a juntion box(ceiling fan installation)? Any info would be great!!

Thanks

John,

Here is some very basic info http://www.radiant-floor-heating.com/

Any afterthought penetrations/alterations could compromise the system or at least that area and may cause life endangerment to the alterer.

Consult the manufacture before any work or penetrations are attempted.

There was some discusion on Radiant a short while age
