New Hampshire well water and arsenic contamination

Here’s an interesting article about private wells in New Hampshire contaminated with arsenic.

“Water in one out five NH private wells contains levels above state standards for arsenic”.

We often see high levels especially around the lake.

Interesting Pete, thanks for sharing!

I’ve been testing here in Northern Michigan with some positive test results.

The only kicker is its an entirely separate test that has to go to our state Department of Environmental Quality as opposed to a local EPA lab.

Hi Scott,
We’re fortunate as we can have our regular labs do this test.
Since the EPA lowered the threshold we see more elevated results which need correction.
Very common in NH especially around bodies of water.
