Good day all,
Upon inspection of the hot water heater, I found a section of copper piping that is not associated with the water heater or the exterior faucets but comes threw the foundation wall directly behind/above the water heater. also the section of copper piping does not connect to anything and has been hacked off. My question is why would this be there and most importantly even though I intend to report it as just a notice in the report, s this something that should be removed or at least removed from over the water heater?
