OK can someone verify the age of this water heater for me.

Thats the guide I use also, the reason I posted and am asking is there is a Big difference between those 2 dates…hahaha I don’t see why these companies cant just put the damm date in plain english.

Agreed…date on the dang appliance,and gauge # on 3 sides of all wires for the entire length!

It is probably the 2001 as it appears that the ANSI # is 2000.
Thanks Larry, thats what I am going with. Finishing up that report right now. Was a good size inspection yesterday. 4,500 sq ft. 2 zone hvac, 2 whirlpool tubs,3 car garage, outside hot tub, pool house with a bit of mold testing, pool company did the actual pool inspection, Radon test yada yada…but at the end of the day that Friday check was Nice…
