Gas water heater venting terminated at the exterior wall, in addition to a large hole in the flue pipe. This is a standard 18 year old water heater, not direct powered vent.

geez louise, you think that being a home owner they would invest more energy into there family’s well being and pay a qualified technician to do the work they were taught.
