This is a dishwasher drain hose connected to a trap below the floor.
Dishwashers are not in constant use so the trap is in danger of drying out.
Thoughts?
It’s wrong.
It would takes weeks for the trap to dry out so that isn’t as big an issue as a backed up waste line. It is just wrong.

Usually I see these rigged up without a trap.
