Can someone explain this it is a vent pipe in the attic. There is a vent pipe which terminates through the roof and this pipe is also connected to the vent pipe and terminates in the attic.
This material is only to be used for heating and cooling. What material vents through the roof? Where is this originating from?
if it is an exhaust fan vent , it is possible they used an insulated pipe to stop condensation on the ceiling below, or maybe it was the only pipe the guy had on his truck at the time. I have seen heated air exhausted thru a cold attic condensate, strange but true.
