Would you comment on a kitchen sink faucet handle which when it sits with the handle motion toward you as hot and cold away.
I heard that when the faucet is mounted in this position the toward motion of the handle should be cold water, not hot as a safety comment for childen not injuring themselves.

Rumor has it that the inventor of the faucet… Jean-Claude Faucee’ was a southpaw and insisted the Hot on the Left was more appropriate.

Yes, I always call out the fixture as being plumbed hot & cold reversed. It is a potential burn hazard, especially with children.
