Owner says the new septic was installed in 2006, an aerobic system. I asked if they knew where they had to insert the chlorine tablets. She looked at me blank faced… Uh oh.
Sure enough, here’s what was coming out of the discharge into the ditch on the side of the county highway behind the house. Six people living there, it was nice and ripe.
Guy who installed it had a two year maintenance agreement, he never came once and he never taught them how to maintain it themselves.
