Studor vents in crawl space

The main vent stack has been eliminated. Someone installed two Studor valves in the crawl space. One at the start of the main waste line and one under the shower in the crawl. Is this acceptable?

918.7 Vent Required

Within each plumbing system, not less than one stack vent or vent stack shall extend outdoors to the open air.

Depending on the Jurisdiction, not all Studor Vents are accepted. I would check with the AHJ in your area.

Personally, I believe Oatey valves would be the proper spec’d valve along with what Marcel stated. :shock:
