There were vent stacks (which are obviously too short) in close proximity to this swamp cooler. The closest was approx. 2’ away. Can anyone please advise if this is a defect and should be recommended to be corrected? Thanks in advance.
Does the swamp cooler in your attached picture draw in air from the roof which is cooled and distributed inside? That would be a defect, plumbing vent terminations should be well away from air intakes, 10 to 15 feet.
