Added Trusses

What do you think of this?

This was added to an original truss system, they even ordered additional trusses and attached the two to make a continuous roof system.

Trusses are an engineered system. When they are modified they need a note from the engineer.

They needed a board stretcher in pic 4. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think that’s some poor quality framing!

I do not think much effort was put into that framing.
Its engineered truss-work and needs a architect to OK,write off to do any adjusting, load shift for dormer etc.
Also look at the pattern they used for bracing. What the hell is that.
No common sense applied. I give it a failing grade even for effort.
I would write up to have a carpenter or engineer assess the work.
Show photos to an engineer if you use one.
