–you admit there IS a problem, water problem supposedly with the floor so… determine why water is accumulating under the floor and fix it, sheesh.
IF… the floor was poured too THIN then, re-pour it!

IF the problem is water accumulation under the floor due to a blockage in the lateral line, snake it!

You admit there’s at least THAT particular problem but then cry about it. Why should the buyer have to PAY to fix/re-pour, snake etc.

Then you painted the walls. You say the walls are in great shape, don’t leak, had no stains etc so… why paint them… hmmmmmmmm.
(right right right, make it look prettier, we know)

Then sir, my old azz DOES see some stains, efflorescence on some areas of wall, your paint job didn’t hide it all.

Sure, maybe the basements walls ARE in good condition compared to others, may well be the case and maybe there isn’t a huge water instustion problem there but fact is, you DO have some issures in basement so shut it down and fix/repair/snake them.

These FLIPPERS almost always do/try and fix shtt… the cheapest and sorriest ways then wonder why their supposed-repairs get called out!

:45 you say hydrostatic pressure, i say it’s much more likely you have water accumulation under the floor DUE to a possible blockage in lateral line OR, as you said, part of your floor is THIN so, you/somebody ‘may’ need to re-pour it. IF it is 1-2" thick/thin… why should the BUYER have to pay for an existing problem(s). Determine the actual problem(s) and fix em dude.

Then around the 1:45 mark… that CORNER (where there’s a line that goes through basement wall), that. part of the floor also looks IFFY, there may be an exterior crack, cracked exterior parging etc that allows water in, onto the floor in that corner sometimes, on some rains…point is, looks IFFY, I’d do a water test with a hose to to rule this possibility in or out, eh.

Alex, this home was inspected, regular ‘real inspection’ that said there were NO basement leaks, no moisture issues in basement… NONSENSE!

these basement walls were also PAINTED… home inspector did NOT note any existing moisture problems nor cracks in walls etc etc, nope.
Again, why should the BUYER have to PAY for these existing problems/defects… seller’s need to be friggin honest and either disclose these problems or fix the dang things CORRECTLY!
Well well well, look at the photos… there were multiple existing DEFECTS in basement wall.

This house was recently sold, where the hlll was the CITY brains and where was the home inspector melon?


Come on! The city and home inspector ‘okays’ basements like this just because some interior basement system company–IDIOT installed an inside system and sump pump with a supposed LIFETIME GUARANTEE???

First part of video you’ll see the PIECE of CRRRRAP interior basement system… did it stop the water from entering?
Hllll no.
3:15… ‘some’ of the EXTERIOR cracks, aka existing defects which were indeed where the stupid water was entering into the hollow block walls, vertical corner crack and horizontal crack. The cracks were patched and painted on the inside… pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft! Total ignorance on this subject, scam, frauds.
