Sump, no pit...again

I cannot tell from other threads if a pump is actually required in a pit that does have water in it. Many spider webs on top of pit, no obvious signs of past water issues near pit, and we have recently had a bunch of rain.

**See pits a lot without sump pumps. If you want to RECOMMEND do so.

I think you have it backward…Pit, no Pump. :mrgreen:

More than once I have installed sump pits just in case one is needed.
Although some water in it, might not show that one enough warranted installing a pump for it.
