This is an awesome article! I enjoyed every word of it. I’m into building using sustainable practices and would like to encourage the use of what we think of as “Non-traditional” building materials. Bamboo wasn’t even on the table when we started the plan to build some tiny houses out of different materials.
We’re currently planning a tiny house (less than 800 sq. ft.) made from Earth Bags.
I would love to explore the use of bamboo as a sustainable building material. Sounds pretty complicated and lots of room for error. Maybe one day I’ll know enough about inspections that I can go into inspecting bamboo & other materials just as thoroughly.
