Hey Guys, we’re going to be at a Inspector Conference put on by Mike Casey & Kevin O’Malley in Vegas September 20th-23rd. These are the guys that put on the great conferences and then sold their business (ITA) to Kaplan. Now they’re back! It’ll be held at the Venetian where you can get a room for only $129. I’ll be giving a talk on search engine optimization during one of the hour long educational slots as well as have a booth set up.
I’m looking into getting a classroom on the 19th or 20th before the official conference starts for 3-5 hours to give a longer talk on website optimization and an hour on Home Inspector Pro. Let me know if you’re interested. We’re trying to find the exact cost of the room but I’m guessing that we’d charge $25 for the talk to help cover the cost of the room. If we can get a good deal on it then we’ll make it free to enter. PLEASE let me know now if you’re interested in the extra session before the conference so I can make arrangements on a room size. Also let me know how long you think you can listen to me talk about how to make your websites look better, rank better and convert your visitors into callers. I can talk forever but don’t want to drive you guys mad
Mike Casey and Kevin O’Maller must be really old by now. AND rusty and out of the loop now that they’ve SOLD the business AND have just been sitting around for years playing golf and drinking shots of Jose Cuervo Gold on the beach. What could they be talking about - They were really nice guys back in their day, but that was 15-20 years ago.
What could those old guys talk about today - The best sun-blocker or who has the best tasting Prune Juice …
They had a non compete when they sold ITA to Kaplan (which I believe was 6 years or so ago) which is now up. They aren’t the ones doing the talking though. For example I’ll be doing an hour talk on website optimization. Here’s the conference schedule right now. I’m doing the “Up Your Website Ranking” talk, but trying to get a 3-5 hour talk going on our own on the 20th which is basically a registration day. I’m also pretty sure Nick is going, but don’t quote me on that.
I talked to Kevin at a conference in Arizona last weekend. He must have a good plastic surgeon, you make it sound like he’s ancient!
I’ve already had a good response on the separate extended website optimization class on the 20th. Let me know if you’re coming so we can get an appropriate sized room!

We’ve finalized the details for the search engine optimization/website/Home Inspector Pro class. It’s going to be 9am to 2pm on the 20th, and it’ll be FREE. So basically if you register soon you’ll get 4 days of classes and credit for the cost of 2.
