Lead Safety for RRP course. Free and online as usual.

EPA approval applied for.

InterNACHI’s free, online Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) course.

Cool! Ignore my post in the legislative section.

I don’t do contractor work, but was just wondering here. Will this class give us the credentials that the EPA is looking for as part of the new lead program, or would you still need to take more classes to be compliant in the eyes of the EPA?

This course fulfills all the necessary requirements.

So a contractor could take the INACHI course and be compliant with the certification end of things?

Mostly. According to the course materials, the contractor will need to apply to the EPA to be a “Certified firm”. The main requirement to be a certified firm is to have at least one certified renovator on staff to oversee any work. This course provides the certified renovator portion.
